3rd January 2019Last term reception class read Naughty Bus, a brilliant adventure story. They then created story maps, made their own buses (indoors and out) and loved recreating pages from the story like the breakfast table scene with real beans!! What a Naughty Bus! -

6th November 2017After learning about the Egyptian Pyramids, children were given the task of creating an animated report using an iPad and our newly purchased 'phones'. 15th May 2017English lessons in Niagara Falls class have focused on the wonderful picture book 'The Lost Happy Endings' by Carol-Ann Duffy. Children have made predictions, developed inference skills using text and pictures, visualised the settings and looked closely at characters. 24th November 2015This week we have read the story 'Big Bear, Little Brother' by Carl Norac. In our topic lesson we created snowy scenes and even made our own snow! This really inspired us to write a piece of descriptive writing. Next week we are going to write a whole story on what happened when we entered our snowy world.
