15th May 2017English lessons in Niagara Falls class have focused on the wonderful picture book 'The Lost Happy Endings' by Carol-Ann Duffy. Children have made predictions, developed inference skills using text and pictures, visualised the settings and looked closely at characters. 10th October 2015Our literacy unit this half term is based on the text Beowulf. Children enjoyed taking on the different roles during drama sessions, this helped to develop a better understanding of the feelings and motives of the characters. Amazing acting!
