We use several key tools around school and in the classroom to help teach and develop core values and skills, along a pupil's Learning Journey at Holcombe Brook. 'Learning Waymarks' shown here are specific items from these tools that are relevant to the content, or activity being reported. We add this information with the hope of strengthening these values and accelerating pupil development, both in the classroom and at home. Year 3 to Year 6 Games Rota – Friday Afternoons

Please see the attached rota for when your child should be doing the 8 different activities on offer.

Please note, if a session is cancelled then it will roll over onto the following Friday. At the bottom of the rota, you will also notice the footwear they require.

I have arranged the rota so that the older children are undertaking rugby and football (on the field) throughout the winter months as we expect more of these pupils to own a pair of boots.

Your child will receive quality coaching for 4 weeks, culminating in matches on the final week (except in dance!).

Your child will be coming home in their kit. Let’s hope the weather is kind to us!

Your child’s class teacher is available at the start and end of the school day. We are an open school and the children benefit from the special partnership we have with parents and carers.
